Developer Snowydew has released a tool set designed to Decrypt and re-encrypt the PS3's edat. This tool can also do several other things that many developers will be interested in. There is still some work that needs to be done, but if you are interested in PS3 development and helping out the scene, you should take a closer look at these tools.
