I love hacking games, and I understand completely wanting to cheat to get the full value out of a game if you suck at it. But cheating to pwn online or get achievements/trophies you don't deserve just screws up the point and makes you a liar. Gaming has changed by adding the online experience, and cheating can really sour it up.

I wish modern consoles allowed cheat devices, but disabled online/achievements when cheating.

It's PC software. They ought to be more clear about that. As usual all their marketing hype is fine with leaving half their users confused, as long as they buy! buy! buy! I predict a small influx of "so u can use codes w/this?", and, "how do I play this on my ps3?", posts on every hacking site.

If it's a save-modding tool then they need to rename that to "Save Modding Tool" not "Cheat System". It is false advertisement, for it is not enabling the user to activate "cheats" but rather modify their save (completely different).

Well, you're cheating either way, so that's more a convention than some objective standard. I agree with you, though. The people that make this surely have enough experience with their user base and the way terms have been used in the past to realize that their advertising is confusing. It's not false-advertising exactly, but I think it is deliberately deceptive. They're careful to mention up top that it works on all firmwares and with unmodified consoles, and more or less leave you to infer that it's PC software from the system requirements, and the fact that you can "download and play". They're doing everything they can to leave readers with the impression that the software is more than it is, without explicitly lying.

This is like the NDS with their action replay power saves or whatever, I bought that damn shit back in the early stages of the DS only to find it can export/import the saves on a cart and then you could load one of their saves to your cart. It had the same lingo going with the cheats and whatever and me being a game hacker was hoping for more hell I even tried to hex edit the damn saves to get something more out of it, waste of money in my opinion.
