Code Hero is a co-op first-person shooter where you become a rock star programmer, saving the world from evil AI. You rely on your trusty "code gun" that can copy, paste and edit real Javascript as ammunition to blast the enemy, manipulate the world, and build structures creatively.

Code hero gives players unprecedented power inside the game. It's a new type of learning; players start out using powerful code without needing to understand it, then slowly master that code to conquer specific challenges. It's a game first, and a learning tool second.

Code Hero takes place both inside the 3D game world of Codia and in the face-to-face meet space of Actualia. The game starts inside the computer, but it extends into meeting people in the real world and beyond.

Code Hero is a game that teaches people how to make games, and plants the seeds of science learning so that every mind can invent the future free from the discrimination that held back humanity's breakthroughs from atoms to computers.

Code Hero connects players to history's greatest code heroes as mentors, from Ada Lovelace and Charles Babbage, teaching you how they created the first software and hardware, to Woz and Alcorn teaching how they built the first personal computers and video games.

It challenges players to tackle the mighty FizzBoss to prove themselves as programmers and lets you prove to yourself and the world that you are a code hero, and that nothing can be restrained from us which we imagine to do when we code the change we wish to see.

Code Hero is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. Releases are planned for Mac and Windows, with iOS, Linux and Android to follow in the future. As of this writing, 53 hours of funding remain and the game has received $83,319 of its $100,000 goal.
