  • Some extraordinary retro game hacking going on here

There is some extraordinary retro game hacking going on here.

The site's author makes scans of his handheld games, and then programs a perfect simulator in Borland Delphi 4.0, using the graphics and sound from the original games. The fidelity is amazing; it's like having the machine embedded in your monitor.

Even better, there's a tutorial for those who want to try making their own simulations.

There is an extra / in your link dlevere that stops any of the downloads being found (at least on IE 9it does).

But yeah that's a pretty awesome site. I wonder if he has that tank game that is seen in the original Tron. I used to have this massive handheld / binocular looking device that played it, it was awesome

That's his doing, the above example is how his download link is displayed.

Yeah there is something strange going on because if you go to http://www.madrigaldesign.it/sim/dnload.php then all the menu links are displayed with only 1 / whereas if you use the address you've posted they all have 2. Must be a dodgy bit of php somewhere.
