Hacker digs hole into PlayStation Classic's motherboard

Hackers Davee, xyz, yifanlu, as well as PSP/Vita scene Veteran EmuOnPSP, nvsofts , and v9938 have started looking into the device. Allegedly, v9938 was able to dump the firmware, with some parts still encrypted. The Japanese hacker also shared information on how the dump was achieved.

Hopefuly in due time we will be able to add and or replace existing games and emulator cores among other possible features. I won't buy one but if someone gives me a PSClassic or whatever it would be fun to dick around with for a little while. Still, it's sad that it happens too soon, I guess. *shrugs*
