People playing pirated games on their Switch are at risk

Switch hacker SciresM has taken to reddit in order to explain how Nintendo have implemented strict authentication checks, and how they could use those to ban consoles or accounts.

Nothing really wrong with busting pirates. My only picky stance on pirating is that if I have ever bought the game at some point in time, it's mine and if I can't figure out where my copy is or I sold it or whatever and I grab a digital one it's still mine to my standards because I'm not paying 2, 3, 4, or however many times they think I'm going to waste my money. I'm not going to buy a separate copy for the PS2, then PS3, then PS4. Nor am I going to do the same with Nintendo. If I had it on Nintendo or Super Nintendo at some point and no longer have it, I've got nothing against taking it for free from somewhere because I'm beyond irked enough for how many times I've wasted money multiple times on 1 thing.
