We are going to take a look at the command SHL and SHR. Shift Left and Shift Right. We will explore exactly what these commands do, and how we can implement them in our scripts for huge gains, or easy kills.

I haven't watched the video but it seems odd. All shifting bits left or right does is multiply or divide a value by powers of 2, I'm not sure why they'd make a video out of it.
