The Final Fantasy series have a lot of fans who invest time and effort into building their characters. Players sometimes need adjacent tools to change the stats of various builds and add items to their inventories.
Edit FF7 saves from all types of platforms
Black Chocobo is a software tool that enables you to edit various saves from your Final Fantasy 7 games. The application is easy to install and requires minimal system resources to run. However, Qt must be installed on your computer for it to function properly.
The interface is clean and well organized into various tabs and menus. You can add save games from different platforms, PSP, PS3, emulators and PSX. The application can be used as a converter, importing a save file from PC and exporting it to PSP.
Respec your characters and modify your inventory
The application detects all characters from a save file and allows you to alter their stats. You can preview the icons and you can edit everything, from health, mana and experience points to strength, vitality, dexterity and so on. You can also add items in bulk mode and edit the number of battles and runs in which you have participated.
There are a few drawbacks that might hinder your experience. The application does not support PS2 or PSU save files. Moreover, the saved files might not be correctly exported. This project is on-going to these issues might get fixed.
