Forum Hacked

The initial Forum Main page has been hacked by some assholes and I have made a temporary fix until rimsky sees it and fixes it. In order to go to different sections of the forum until its fixed use the Quick Navigation Panel above the quick response window.

Has whatever method they used to get into the site been fixed? I'm just wondering if we change our passwords now, can they still get in and see the new passwords?

No idea since rimsky hasn't been on yet to look but I'm sure passwords can't be seen atleast I know I can't see them but I think they can be altered if needed but lets let rimsky or LB respond. Fell free to join the Chat to talk to us in realtime and hopefully get ahold of rimsky.

I'm not familiar with this kind of stuff, but why did the hacker have an email address posted on the page? Did anyone try sending an email to see if it was legit?

Every time I click on the link to forums, it's taking me to Search->New Posts.

Every time I click on the link to forums, it's taking me to Search->New Posts.

This was done due the hacker defacing the main index of the forums with the vB4 Default style selected. Helder made modifications to point people to the new posts screen instead to prevent the issue. The style has since been corrected by rimsky82. I believe this will be restored to normal when helder or rimsky82 is next online.
