Well, after speaking with hosting and reviewing potential costs and benefits, I've decided it would be more worthwhile than adding attached storage to simply upgrade the entire VPS once more, doubling again the memory, CPU, bandwidth, and storage space we have at our disposal. As a result, we will have a veritable monster of a hosting solution (actually, we kind of already have that).
As such, there will be a very brief period of downtime starting tonight at 11:00PM CST. Nothing is required on the part of visitors and members, and there will be no IP address or DNS change.
Our new backup solution is already implemented; I'm currently streamlining the process and ensuring proper space usage.
As usual, apologies for any annoyance caused by the (short) outage.
