Gameshark/Action Replay V3 (16 digits) to Gameshark (12 digits)

Hi everyone. I'm a bit of a newbie so I apologize if this isn't the right place to post this.

Anyways here goes. I have a Gameshark SP by Mad Catz and it seems all the codes are 12 digits for each line. The game in question is Pokemon Emerald for the GBA. Now most of the good codes for Emerald are 16 digit codes and seem to read as Action Replay V3 codes.

Now my question is can these 16 digit Action Replay V3 codes be converted to the 12 digit codes for my Gameshark SP or alternatively, is there an archive of 12 digit codes, because, I have searched everywhere and they're mostly 16 digit codes and read as AR V3 codes?
