This isn't quite the usual hacking I do.
I decided to beat Alien Homonid, and since there's no way I'll be able to do that without cheating, here's some editing that I figured out to make the game simple.
Edit 0x12554B, and set it to 00 for Infinite Lives.
Edit 0x090953, and set it to 0F27 for 9999 lives every new game.
You'll have to download the game and use a hex editor if you feel the need to install these hacks for playing.
Right-click, and 'Save Target As' in Internet Explorer. Those using other browsers are probably intelligent enough to download it without instructions.
