Are you sure? Are you using JAPAPNESE Castlevania Adventure? Are you using a REAL Game Genie on an actual console?

Yes sir, I am using that exact version. Generally if the code is not accepted in VBA it is not a proper GG GB code. If a code does not work in VBA, there is little hope that it will work in any other emulator. Your second line gets spat back as not a valid code.
