Is there a Debug Mode / Level Select Combo for the SMS/GG versions i've only seen this for the mega drive version.
Level Select: Up, Down, Left, Right, Hold A and press Start at the title screen.
Debug Mode, Up, C, Down, C, Left, C, Right at the title screen. The player must then hold A and Start until the game begins.
The SMS/GG have no C button obviously and Start/Pause is on the console not the pad is there another combo for SMS/GG?
I saw this combo at GameWinners as welll as http://klaatu.hd1.com.br/ms/s010.htm but I doubt it's real

Clear the stage without permission? 00D289:01
00D2AA:XX = Amount of rings, resets to 00 after 99 and gives you a new life. 50 rings or above needed to enter special stages?
00D246:XX = Amount of lives, 99 lives only show as 9 in-game, 99 on stats screens.
Slight correction on Infinite Time code.
00D2CE:XX = Time (Minutes)
00D2CF:XX = Time (Seconds)
9m:59s runs out of time in-game as it can't activate quick enough so shoots to 10mins timeout, 9m:58s works fine though in-game.
0m:00s out of time in special stages, it's the opposite of the above.
Also the level select code is only for the Act Number, not the rounds, in-game it only goes up to 02 before reseting back to 00 from what I noticed although it did work to load the other levels with stated values
maybe there's a rounds address too? as well as a way to load the special stages.
The Sonic Turbo address also starts off with the timer value EE before counting down to 00,
00 = Normal Speed, 01-04 sound slighlty different in speed going up gradually till 05, past 05 I didn't notice a difference in sound just takes longer to reach 00.
