Press Down, A for the 2600 game, sounds better

For some reason, the "A" value (01) doesn't work with that code. Almost as good... ABAV-HD9G = Press Down, A for 2600 version. :-)
Here's some of the codes I decided not to post. Let me know if you think any of these should be added to the site.
Also note that all of these codes can be easily modified (ie. faster/slower/higher/lower, etc).
SG4V-HLV0
Walk faster going Left. Will let you walk thru walls, but you sometimes disappear?
SG4V-HJT4
Walk faster going Right. Will let you walk thru walls, but you sometimes disappear?
0C4V-H98G
High jump when standing still. Will let you jump from the lower level up to the upper level without using a ladder. Had trouble grabbing the vines.
AW4B-GAHT
Can jump across pits (barely) without using vines. Only works going Right. It's best to walk from one screen to another. If you jump to the next screen, you'll probably disappear (just press Left until you reappear).
A44B-GAHT
Can easily jump across pits. Only works going Right. Same notes as code above. Note that with both of the codes, you can grab vines, it's just a little difficult to time it right. Also, makes it very easy to jump over enemies in the lower areas.Last edited by Tony H; 11-13-2011, 05:06:09 PM.

To be honest, I'm probably not going to make the "Replace Info menu with original Pitfall" code (doesn't seem necessary).
However, I did make some codes for the original Pitfall that I didn't post because they might cause problems in the game if you weren't careful. For example, I made a code that lets you jump all the way over a pit without using a vine, but if you weren't careful, you would land right on top of an enemy (snake, etc).
If you'd like, I'll post those codes so you can play around with them.Last edited by Tony H; 11-13-2011, 12:39:07 PM.

Replace 'Info' Menu with Original Pitfall game..like on the SNES version
Also..I did some change in the xx button to play the 2600 game
8FAV-GTHE Press up to Play the 2600 Game
8FAV-GAHE Press Start to play 2600 Game

Bringing this back
How about Pressing Down to get the 2600 Game like the PAR code FF5879:FF
or even replacing "Info" as the 2600 Game
