I know this kind of topic is old but I was wondering if its possible to create a .ppf patch to force cb 9.2 to search for SYSTEM.CNF on memory card (particularly mc0:/SYS-CONF/ but any folder will do) instead of cdrom:/ ? My goal is to modify a .cnf file to search for hdl.elf on another media such as usb and have CB boot it directly. I wish I could do this but I have no idea on how to do this instead of having to do so on a cd.
on the cd i just search for YSTEM.CNF and just change it to YSTE1.CNF. and just make one accordingly to boot hdl off cd automaticly. My main problem is that I can't find the string to change which media it looks on. Any help on this is appreciated.
