What isn't documented online, however (until me), is the fact that Brain Dead 13 (USA) suffers from a similar problem: When the in-game prompt in Brain Dead 13 (NTSC-U) to put in Disc 2 comes up--on whatever emulator--swapping the disc does not work. (Tested on Windows "BizHawk" emulator and PSP's PS1 emulator). Someone made a way to merge Disc 1 & 2 into a single image file, which I confirmed works on my Windows BizHawk & pSX emulators, but that merged file does not run at all on the PSP's PS1 emulator.
I'd like someone to make a Disc 2 Swap fix patch, akin to the Driver 2 one linked above, so disc swap to Disc 2 on Brain Dead 13 (USA) can work as intended (particularly so the full game can run on the PSP).
