It's semi-widely documented online after a quick Google search that Codename: Tenka softlocks after the intro CG if you have a memory card in both slots. So the game cannot be played at all. Multiple PS1 emulators have struggled with this. Some emulators have released a fix for this issue. I am currently trying to get the game to work on a PSP. The PSP's PS1 emulator is not an open source project and is not editable. So, if it's possible to disable the memory card, our only option would be through a cheat code. Please help!
EDIT: Oh this patch might work? If it doesn't I'll edit this again.. https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/3146/
EDIT2: The patch works to the point that you can get into the gameplay, but you cannot load or save data (it still complains about 2 memory cards).
So the request to enable loading/saving (maybe by completely disabling access to the 2nd memory card) is still on the table.
