Version 3 codebreaker ps1 final Fantasy 7

I have a codebreaker version 3 for the PS1 and it works with other games however I'm having problems getting the codes to work for infinite health at the beginning of the game. I was told that the Codebreaker can use Gameshark codes but am I missing something here ?do I have to save or wait later in the game then input cheats? I'd like to request infinite health for the character cloud however does anybody know if I have to purchase a different cheating device like a Gameshark? I know in some games you have to go through the training or introduction before you put in cheats I don't know if that's the case here does anybody have any experience with inputting codebreaker Gameshark codes and if they know of any version device of a Gameshark or other cheat devise known to work please let me know thanks.

The codes that I tried in my codebreaker version 3 cd on the PlayStation 1. One experience point to level up to next level 8009C7B80001. The next code I use the network is infinite health for cloud infinite HP.8009C764270F. The two codes I just use our under character codes and then cloud. The Final Fantasy 7 disc that I'm using is a set of one of three CDs and it's the greatest hit edition original software not emulation. I have two code Breakers and I don't work on either one of them but it does say that it will work with Gameshark codes which it does have Gs beside the code so I'm assuming it's a Gameshark code. I am using the US version of the Final Fantasy set and the Codebreaker is us as well. If anybody can help me out I appreciate it I know that the codes work I just might be using either a wrong cheating device or I just want to see if anybody can verify this I know somebody's cheated with this game with emulation or cheating device and I'm curious to hear what they think.

I tried all those codes they work flawlessly thank you very very much hi It isgoing to make the game too easy that's what I like to see�� this will allow a guy like me that doesn't have hours to play cut it in half thank you!!
