[PS2] Barbarian SLUS-20136 Request

I would like to request an infinite health code for this game for all characters if possible. This code has NEVER been hacked for any cheat device. I do have the elf file here http://www.4shared.com/archive/IdwEJ...Barbarian.html Also, here's a forum that has multiple posts on the subject.

Reality is Your going to give you or the other Player Inf HP. per stage Load everything Swaps. this is just a simple way to do this u just have to Press the jokers then stop when u have the right one. :P

i will try this code in a few skiller and i'm VERY appreciative that you responded to this request so quickly. Thanks man! I know lee4 had mentioned that this code might need a "double pointer" or reverse pointer because of the way the memory shifts in the old cmp forum. Would that be possible or not? I'm not necessarily asking you to do this, i'm just wondering if it can be done.

EDIT: unfontunately the code doesn't work. i checked it several times to make sure it was entered correctly.

very odd.. i tested it on every aspect of the game.. guess i will have to dig a little deeper if Lee4 post dont work

Is the memory shifting functions like metal gear solid 3 or is it just DMA data such as health?

I believe it's just Dma for the health data but I will test lees codes first.

when i loaded it up. its only shifting between 2 different addresses . not spent much time on it about 1h. so i will have to check it a bit deeper and follow it back to the actual Source with Breakpoints .. the Memory Section Controls Many things as well as the HP.. its just the point of Narrowing down the right tree


tomleiberman do you have any codes that u have played this game with? and worked even official ones ?
if nothing works for you it could very well be the master code you have in place .. what cheat device are you testing this with ..

it could be the master code. I'm using the official CB one (M) 9AEC580F 18341ABA from codetwink on CB v9.3 and give me a few minutes and i will update on whether or not any of the codes work with the official enable code.

EDIT: Just tried Inf AP (Ability Points)2A3F0B62 0000270F from codetwink and the code seems to work fine with the official (M) code.

EDIT #2: Just tried both of lee's codes. The first one freezes on the screen right before the fight when starting a new game with keela. His second code does give inf HP when pressing and of the three combinations of select+up,left or down but your character cant move around and is just stuck to keep getting repeatedly hit, fall down then rinse and repeat. Btw, I made sure both long codes were entered correctly and that they were raw since this game uses a CBv1 encryption and because of the pointers not being able to be encrypted with CBv1 encryption.

yeah the one pointer that you tweaked of lee's did the same thing as before, gave inf hp but couldn't move. your test code just froze on the first loading screen every time i reloaded it. man, no wonder this code never got hacked haha. hey just want to say a Big thank you to skiller and lee4 for trying to hack this code.

Guess i might have to see why there is a Different Effect on Ps2 then there is on Ps2dis might be something to do with Emulation as to why there is an issue .

ya thats the main issue is that everything is from the same point.
but like u noticed 12 seems to be related to HP for all. But to Differentiate between 2 spots is pain. 12 value shows up 18times. also i think showed up for the Breakable objects . i tried to kinda skip the ASm section that it Broke to but reality is its best spot to jump from since half the checks are done. the only issue now is to find out of the 18times it find 12 how to tell what ones player . one of the factors would be to Up the players HP since and set the code to check for Max Since Enemy from what i have seen will always have 42C8 were players HP increases. then just check for 12 and max HP value to start with would give you player. -
