Is there anyway to cheat digital 3DS games?

Is there anyway for me to get cheats into my digital saves without having to make any hardware or software changes to my 3ds?

Only recently I've found out about the 3DS Powersaves, though that only works for physical games and from some quick googling it's not possible to move digital saves to a physical copy, though it can work vice-versa, then that would mean that I need to own two copies of the game, which I would like to avoid if possible.

Sorry to say, but you'd need to at least make some software changes (aka "soft-modding") to your 3DS in order to hack eShop games (if that's what you mean by digital games).

I do know of an app to give yourself billions of diamonds and coins (as well as maxing out your rank and tricking out your Pokemon with all kinds of cool traits) for Pokemon Rumble World. I aim to take full advantage of this once I acquire a Gateway cart.

Speaking of, it's the easiest way to apply cheats (and maybe even search for them), although it is on the pricey side (the average sale site offers Gateway for around 70 dollars).
