  • Non-working moon jump code for Super Mario 64 DS

    Does anyone have a version of this code (for v1.0 of this game) which is guaranteed to work? BTW, I use an R4 flashcart, if that makes any difference. The moon jump code supplied on the usrcheat.dat file also doesn't work. Even stranger is the fact that every other code in the list works. Why won't the moon jump code work?

    BTW, don't say "maybe one of the other codes is making it not work"--I already eliminated that possibility by trying the moon jump code BY ITSELF--it STILL didn't work.

    I even tried editing/altering the code using several different methods, and STILL no cigar.

    Was the code incorrectly transcribed onto this site (and possibly even on Codejunkies)?

    I would appreciate a prompt reply. Thank you in advance.

    EDIT: FINALLY got the moon-jump code to work! Turns out you need the code lines in a specific order for the code to work. There were N64 GameShark codes which had the same type of eccentric behavior.

    EDIT2: It appears that the code on this site (and also CodeJunkies) works for the "raw" Super Mario 64 DS rom. It doesn't seem to work on "Another Super Mario 3D", an otherwise stellar mod of Super Mario 64 DS. Strangely, every other code for Super Mario 64 DS works just fine. Why on Earth won't the moon jump code work...?

    Also, was wondering if anyone know of an invincible/walk through enemies code that didn't have that annoying side-effect of making Mario (Yoshi, Wario, Luigi) invisible in certain situations? Having to control a character you can't see (all you can see is his shadow) is a bit difficult, especially when you have to line up to a sheer wall to perform a backflip (you can't tell which way you're facing).
