I found out that Contra gets more difficult the more you play through it, so I had to find out how to do it. Not sure exactly how high this can go before maxing out but any value seems to work.

I made this code because I found out that all the bonus rooms in SMB are on the same level and wanted to explore it myself. You may want to use a walk through walls code or jump code to get past some of the blocks. Using the -1 world jump trick can also work in some locations. I imagine this might allow you to get past Bowser without actually defeating him or grabbing the axe, but haven't tested that yet.
