I love Toki. Your code just made me look into that version further and I had always thought the Genesis version was just a port of the amazing arcade version (one of my fav arcade games). But I was wrong... the NES version is a port but the Genesis version isn't. Knowing this now, I can't wait to play the Genesis version.

I've been making some PAR codes for SNES Ys V: Ushinawareta Suna no Miyako Kefin (j) with Aeon Genesis' English patch, but I cannot hack any "Items" codes. (Been using both ZSNES & SNES9X) Any help or suggestions?
(Still testing the codes I've made so far for Stats, etc. so I've not posted'em.)

Usually with item codes I would make a save state somewhat before getting an item and then keep comparing searches before and after picking the item up with a bunch of "equal to" searches in between just to throw out the random addresses. If there are still a lot of addresses after that try to watch the values in the RAM, usually with a keen eye and some trial and error something is bound to come up. Usually in RPGs once you find a code for one item the rest are right next to it.
If I can find the game and patch I could probably take a crack at it, let me know how it goes.
Thanx, but I've already done that. I've tried both starting a search with zero as a value, then acquiring an item, and starting the search with a given item, deleting it, and then searching for addys with a new value of zero, my usual methods for finding items codes.
I've gotta go now, but after awhile I'll try to send ya a patched game.
Again, thanx, and thanx in advance for whatever work you may do on it!

Thanx, Lee, but I have a patched ROM. I merely had to remove its header & the patch was readily added with the Lunar patching tool. I don't wanna violate this board's rules by uploading that ROM & sendng it as an attachment to CRACKdown as a PM or email thru this site.
