  • Mercs (Genesis)

    C5SA-AA26
    C5SA-AA4A
    SDVA-AA8C
Walk thru walls, fences, forests, etc. Note that enemies can't follow you when you walk thru fences, into forests, etc.

EDIT: Also, with some bosses at the end of levels, you can walk behind them where they can't reach you, and easily kill them from there.

Bosses at the end of levels are much easier to kill.

EDIT: This will probably be the last of the Mercs codes.

Pause the game to refill your health. Repeat as many times as needed. Note that if you keep adding health, your hearts may start to look funny, but you will get more health than is normally possible.

EDIT: Can be used with the "Pause for invincibility" code.

NOTE: The person I made this code for is testing it, so will wait a little while before I add it to the site in case there's a problem.

Chaz starts a new game with Megid. If you're using an emulator, turn the code on, then reset the emulator/game. You can see the Megid by going to State/Status then press A again.

Note: Again, this code is being tested, so will add it after awhile.

                  • Where you able to save game PS4 using a GG attached. We should look into a code to allow saving when using a GG on real console.

                    • Helder, was never able to save with the GG attached. I always assumed that you couldn't save games with battery back-up because of a hardware issue, but maybe it's something that could be solved with a code.

                      • I remember that Sega endorsed the GG but for RPGs they made it so if the GG is detected you couldn't save, makes me wonder what checks are in place that we couldn't get around. I have the real game and GG and console to test if you want to have a look.

Helder, that is very interesting. Will take a look.

                          • Made an asm trace log when saving the game and there was only one conditional branch before the data was saved. I figured that if it was responsible for preventing the game from saving with the GG attached, then forcing it to follow the opposite branch used with a successful save would cause it to not save any data (mimicking a GG). I tested a code doing that and the data was still saved. I'm pretty sure it's not what we're looking for.

                            • I'm sure if you do a trace with some ASM code on then start the game and one with no ASM codes we could find it easily.
