With this code: PANEPAAA (Start on area 2), even though the screen says you are starting on Area 2, Round 2, the little sign says "S". I'm guessing that means "Start"? Since I'm not familiar with the levels, I really don't know if I'm at the "Start" or round 2. The other "area" codes are similar.

As far as the "Start on round x" codes, some of your pictures don't match up with the results I get. If I use the start on round 2 code, the screen says round 1, but the little sign says "2". Again, since I'm not familiar with the levels, I'm not sure which is right.

like in 1-1 in the Lost Levels..in the Begenning there's a Power-Up Mushroom ....with a code I modded now there's a Poison Mushroom at the begenning..

I don't know what code I modded, any help..

Where's the Value of the Mushroom's & Starman in the ROM??

and this is from Super Mario All Stars on the SNES

I beleave it only effects SMB & SMBLL

There is no single "value" in the ROM for those items.

Unicode, I think I've got everything figured out.

One of the problems was that I thought the little signs were the "Round" numbers, but in fact they are "Section" numbers within the round. Also, I fixed the "Start on area X" codes so that you start on round 1. All I did was add a single code to all of the original codes to fix the problem.

Here are the corrected codes. Note that the codes that said you could start on a different "round", are now re-labeled to say that you can start on a different "Section".

          Adventure Island (Hudson's)

NOTE: If you remove the 2nd code (YLNEIEAL) from any of the "Start on area X" codes below, you'll start on a different round.

          PANEPAAA +
          YLNEIEAL
Start on area 2, round 1.

          ZANEPAAA +
          YLNEIEAL
Start on area 3, round 1.

          LANEPAAA +
          YLNEIEAL
Start on area 4, round 1.

          GANEPAAA +
          YLNEIEAL
Start on area 5, round 1.

          IANEPAAA +
          YLNEIEAL
Start on area 6, round 1.

          TANEPAAA +
          YLNEIEAL
Start on area 7, round 1.

          YANEPAAA +
          YLNEIEAL
Start on area 8, round 1.

          PEEAZAAA
Use this code with any of the codes above and you will start on section 2.

          ZEEAZAAA
Use this code with any of the codes above and you will start on section 3.

          LEEAZAAA
Use this code with any of the codes above and you will start on section 4.

          ========================

Unicode, let me know if you have any problems with these updated codes.

I'll update these codes in the DB soon.

EDIT: Codes have been updated in the DB.

Any info you have that will help me figure out what round or area I'm actually on would be helpful.
These are only checkpoints in each round. If you die after passed any checkpoint as 3, you'll start on that checkpoint (plate "3") instead on plate "S" (start) in the begining of the stage (the Round). Below I attach screenshots taken on FCEUX 2.1.5 about what your codes should modify.

              I. e. please you modify the your GG codes, so "Start on area X" codes change Area number only highlighted with red color in Screenshot A (not also round number). For "Use this code with any of the codes above and you will start on round X", fix so they change only Round number highlighted with red color in Screenshot B, so you'll starts on plate "S" in begining on the Round 2, 3 or 4 instead of chechpoint 2, 3 and 4, corressponding on the plates 2, 3 or 4 and still start on Round 1. If you not understood yet, for example, see Screenshots 11 and 12 in post #28 about what your code "Use this code with any of the codes above and you will start on round 4" LEEAZAAA should do.

I now see you already fix your "Start on Area X" codes and the other ones. I tested your new codes published in post #34 and they work perfectly.

@Tony Hedstrom, I need some codes for the game "Sonic Spinball" for Sega Genesis. I found several places in the game where you cannot avoid from dying.

In Level 1, there's few parts with flippers and a green acid under them. If I fall through the flippers directly there, the player (Sonic) dies instantly.

In Level 2, under each section with a flippers have a large bowl with lava that outflow from it. If you miss the flippers and fall between them directly into the large bowl with lava below, you will die.

In Level 3 there is sections with flippers that have a rotating incisive gears below. These also kill Sonic if he falls into them.

In Level 4, under the flippers, there's lava, similar to that in Level 2. It also kills the player.

You can create GameGenie codes that makes Sonic invincible against that green acid in Level 1 (Screenshot 01), against the large bowls with a lava in Level 2 (Screenshot 02), against those rotating cutting blades in Level 3 (Screenshot 03) and the lava under flippers in Level 4 (screenshot 04)? I. e. if Sonic fall into any of these hazards, he don't die?

retrogamer, no luck with your code.

Unicode, I'll see what I can come up with.

One problem I see already in you pictures above, is that if you don't die in "Sonic Spinball (U) 04.png" (the second pic from the left), it looks like sonic won't be able to jump up high enough to get back up to the flippers. Although I guess you could use the "Low Gravity" GG codes I made to get around that problem.

If you're talking about the one where you just press A or B to select the stage, then I'm unable to make that code.
