I could likely figure out what this cheat does, if I felt like playing the game, but until then:

Unknown Cheat
At the Main Menu, press Select, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. A sound effect will confirm proper entry. For the Japanese release of the game, the Select button is not needed.

There are 4 passwords (2 duplicates) that appear to go unused, as they are treated as incorrect passwords.

Debug Mode
At the Main Menu, press: Down, Down, Left, A.
Then press B to exit the menu, and press start while Push Start is flashing on the Title Screen.
Continue the code with Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Right, Left, Left, Down, Down, B, Right, a sound effect will confirm proper entry.
Select the second option on the Main Menu for a Stage Select, an option to view the credits, an animation viewer and a Sound Test.

There is another push-button cheat for the following game, but I've had no luck figuring it out. If anyone else would be kind enough to decipher it, that would be cool. The Japanese Game Boy Color game is called Magical Chase GB: Minarai Mahoutsukai Kenja no Tani e. Here is the already known cheat, and it's effects:

At the title screen press Up, Down, Up, Down, B, B, B, B, Left, Right, Left, Right, A. Then on the next screen a new 4th level select option will appear at the bottom.

That cheat uses 13 buttons, and I believe the new cheat is 17 buttons.

Monsters, Inc. for the Game Boy Color contains some disabled passwords, one of which is a Stage Select. It's disabled since the password is AAAA which is impossible to input. Here's a Game Genie code to change the password to BBBB to re-enable the Stage Select.
