I found the hit routine last night I'm just trying to decide which of the 2 ways to go with. If used with invincibility it will still be a "Hit Anywhere" not a "Continually Hit Anywhere". The routine is one of those that is shared by both the player and enemies.

At what line did you find the start of the hit routine? I will have to reference this in the log to see how far I was away from it (had to be pretty far up the log). When you spoke of "Invincibility", I thought you were speaking about built in player invincibility (kill enemy on contact type), but now I see your speaking about a shared hit routine between player/enemies. If you patch it with an invincibility code it should be much shorter than a custom routine I would think.

Thanks for the hacks. What did you base the Hit Anywhere code on? I tried enemy health, but it's continually written so I never could get a good trace or find the source address?

You must have used the hit counter. I just hacked Continually Hit Anywhere & Hit Anywhere for bonus stages that way with ease...
