    • No problem.

Nice codes. If you attempt the N64 again can you give "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" a shot for hit anywhere? I am really wondering how it would play out in an open 3d game like that. Also thanks for the update of my codes in the database.

          • A great code for a legendary game:

            Code:
[COLOR="#0000CD"]Legend of Zelda, The: Ocarina of Time Version 1.2 - N64[/COLOR]

            Hit Anywhere
            810A8E28 1000
            810A8E64 1000
            810A910C 1000
            810A9180 2400
            810AA090 1000
This one still needs some work and testing. So I'm going to be changing this one frequently.

            • Holy shat... Nice work man! I'm over here fighting the Dolphin (Wii/GC) emulator (there is a debug mode in it) trying to get the breakpoints to work properly (right now when setting a break it doesn't break...). You really need to make a video or something explaining how your getting breakpoints to work properly in your version of Nemu64 when you get a chance. I have tried with a few different games, but I could never get the breakpoints to break properly (when I wanted them to break such as health decreasing, lives, etc...). You are getting pretty good at the N64 (only 2 games so far but not bad for a first try). I am really trying to branch away from the NES (running out of games that interest me) an onto something more exciting and new, but am having some difficulty with both the Nemu/Dolphin breakpoints so far. I look forward to many other N64 hacks in your future :P. Can't wait till that code is complete.

              • Thanks. I tried to use the Dolphin debugger the other day but without luck.

                • I've been pretty busy lately, and I'm having difficulty finding a ROM of "Bass Masters Classic Pro" that'll work on Geiger SNES9X.(Regular Bass Nasters Classic worx fine.) but I'll keep trying as I find time.

                  • If you guys have the Wii get the USB Gecko, that thing is the shit! Great tools to make codes of any kind be it ram or ASM.

                    • @ nolberto82: Nice Zelda hack! How does the code work in a 3D world? I'm not sure if I saw one made for any other free-roaming games.

I was excited at first when I got the debug mode to load, but got frustrated rather quickly with the slowness of it. Not being able to set a working breakpoint didn't help my mood either. I didn't know PowerPC and wanted to learn it through Dolphin. Since then, I just use it to hack RAM codes and dump the memory. I might fiddle around with it again to get the breakpoints working.

                      • @Hacc: I haven't seem a Hit Anywhere for any 3D game. I have already seem that page but the emulator is just too slow to do anything useful.

This is a much better version than the previous one because you can turn it on when needed. This won't interfere with certain things in the game like the Deku who throws seeds at you and can only be defeated with the shield. I'll have to go through the entire game to test it.

                            • Now that's a code! Nice work as always. I'm sure you won't mind testing it through one of the greatest (if not the greatest) games on the planet .
