  • nolberto, this is one of the coolest codes I have ever seen. Those damned castle levels had me stumped when I played this back in 1986. I wouldn't have thought it possible to alter such a thing. Nice work!!

    I'm wondering about a similar part of a game where you have to go through the level in a particular way. In Transformers - Comvoy no Nazo (or something like that) for the Famicom in one of the later levels you have to take a certain path through the level otherwise it just keeps repeating. Wonder if a code could be make for this.
    US NES games left to beat: 3
    Last 2: Nobunaga's Ambition II and Gemfire

      The one for this game is brutal having to start the whole stage from the beginning. This code will stop that from happening again:

      Code:
      [COLOR="Blue"]Transformers: Convoy no Nazo (J) - NES[/COLOR]

      Take Any Path to Beat Maze in Stage 9
      AYNEAZEY

      Invincibility
      AIUKAZEY
      AVXGPGSZ

      Hit Anywhere(Destroys enemies and platforms)
      AEKGYZGZ
      ASVKZZEP
      SLEKLUSO

      Moon Jump
      AENOAAYZ
      AAEPZOZL
      AAEOTOTZ

        • I am assuming that you are hacking these "Take Any Path" codes by finding the flags that are set at each correct turn and modifying the branches that read these flags to always be set as true?

          Not taking any requests at this time.

          Bored? Watch some of my hacks here.

            In SMB I found a value that increases regardless of whatever path you take. The difference is that in the wrong path after a while it sets the value to 0xFF which makes you repeat that part of the castle again. Every game uses a different way of doing this.

                That's cool. I've always wanted a straight forward stage. I always got frustrated whenever I'd play on those stages.
                Hacking games is always fun because you don't know what's hidden in the game.

                • Clever SMB castle "anywhere route" codes Nolberto. Sometimes thinking of a good/interesting code is just as clever as making the code.

                  I would please like to request a "Hit Anywhere" Game Genie code for (NES) Battletoads and (NES) Ikari Warriors 2: Victory Road.

                  These two games are probably my last two game requests for hit anywhere codes. I'm suprised that there are no "Hit Anywhere" Game Genie codes for (NES) Battletoads. Battletoads is one of the most difficult games for the NES. Nearly impossible to beat without game genie. I appreciate your time and effort of fulfilling my "Hit Anywhere" Game Genie requests. The codes have been very helpful, cool to see them in action, and I have enjoyed them.

                      A hit anywhere for Battletoads might not happen. I've been trying for weeks to get it working.

                                Thanks you for codes, @nolberto82! I seen that most of other users like them also.

                                Requests for Saiyuuki World (J) for NES:
                                • multi jumps;
                                • stop player's health from draining. I'm played many times this game and see that it have a strange bug - even if you don't get any collisions with enemies, your character mysteriously still lose health (except in bosses rooms);
                                • always have strongest sword;
                                • invincibility;
                                • don't spend money when buy items from the shops;
                                • "take any path" because the last level of this game also is at those "labyrinth" levels and it's may most difficult for passing.
