AdamL and I have requested Game Genie codes for (NES) Ice Hockey but nobody has made any yet. Here is his recent request post:

So after seeing all these codes being made like the walk through walls, etc. I started thinking about the old NES games I really played the hell out of back in the 80s and if there would be any codes that could be made for them that would affect gameplay and make the game seem more fresh.

With the NHL season down to its last game I thought of the game Ice Hockey and how there are 3 player sizes to choose from: Small and Thin guy (really fast, but not tough), Medium sized guy (average all around) and Big Blocky Guy (slow as sin, but tough as nails).

Would it be possible to be able to play as Big Blocky Guy AND be just as fast as the Small and Thin guy?
Or how about turning Small and Thin guy into a tough bastard like Big Blocky Guy, yet keep his speed?

What emulator are you using to hack these genesis codes? I believe I've tried a few, however I did not find them adequate. I may give genesis another chance if there is an emulator with a proper debugger/trade in-place.

With your "Hit Anywhere" code I have problem. I can't defeat the boss in Stage 2 with it enabled. No matter how I shoot the boss in that stage, the boss can't die until I disabled the code. It also cause if you kill the enemies (these red ones) that drop power-ups before they appears on the screen you'll lose and can't get the power-ups which the was contains. Therefore this code need to fixed.

I used MESS.

With your "Hit Anywhere" code I have problem. I can't defeat the boss in Stage 2 with it enabled. No matter how I shoot the boss in that stage, the boss can't die until I disabled the code.

The code works as it should. I went through the game with it on. The only problem is that bosses take longer to be defeated.

It also cause if you kill the enemies (these red ones) that drop power-ups before they appears on the screen you'll lose and can't get the power-ups which the was contains. Therefore this code need to fixed.

Is a hit anywhere so wait till they show up on screen to get the powerup. Stop being so picky.

Does not work well with this game. And you'll need an invincibility code to use it.
