  • I just saw a note on the "Codes" page that sez not to use the "hit anywhere" codes for Double Dragon (the first game, by Tradewest) with FCEUX as it causes graphics glitches. Well, I used your codes with only very minor glitches, but with two unlisted effects-the falling stalactites in the cave in Mission 3 don't harm Billy(haven't tried it on 2-Player) and you can pick up the barrel in Mission 1 and toss it to knock down any Rowper on the screen and the box in Mission 2 to knock down any Lhotsars on the screen. Also, you can use the ball bats against the Williamses.

I was also careful to enter the codes in the exact order you posted them.

I have an older rom, and am using FCEUX version 2.1.4. Maybe I'm just getting a lucky break. Just thought I'd pass that on.

Also, just using your DD III "hit anywhere" codes, same emu, again with an older rom, the green spikes didn't rise, even without your "no rising spikes" code. However, I later entered that code, with no effect. Again, maybe it was my "lucky day".

Lemme say, "Great work!" to you, and everyone else for all your work lately!
I come from a smart family...In the Civil War, my great-grandpa fought for the WEST.

For Double Dragon I used VirtuaNES without any problems. At first when I was testing the code it was working correctly but then when I tried it again with FCEUX it started looking messed up. As for Double Dragon 3 hit anywhere has the "no rising spike" included in it to allow you to continue in that part of the level. If you attack right there with hit anywhere on the game thinks that the spikes are enemies and stop you from continuing.

      Code:
[COLOR="Green"]Death and Return of Superman, The - SNES[/COLOR]

Hit Anywhere(It only hits one enemy at a time. Best used when flying.)
