Thanks for the info & you too Phil.
Hacking games is always fun because you don't know what's hidden in the game.

        • Sweet NBA Jam codes!! This would have been awesome to use back in the day when my cousin used to kick my ass in this game. He would have gotten so pissed off if I was making every shot he probably would have stormed off and threw the controller down.

          Nice work as usual nolberto!

          • Hey adaml, I see you still have 3 U.S. NES games left to beat. I remember you saying that one of those games is that Piano game which I heard is nearly impossible. Are you going to try to attempt to beat it anyway? Has anyone ever seen the ending to that Piano game? ReyVG, have you ever seen the ending to that game? Does that game even have an ending? Adaml, what are the other 2 games you haven't beat yet? Does anyone know or ever heard of anyone beating that Piano game? That may be the only U.S. NES game that nobody in the world has ever beat.

Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. Somewhere under the brick & steel of a nondescript building. We've once again made contact w/ our leader, OSG

            • If you get a chance could you write a tutorial on your method of hacking the following types of codes:

              Hit Anywhere
              Get Items From Anywhere

Also could you use The Legend of Zelda (NES) as your example game? You seem to be churning these code types out pretty quickly so you must have a relatively effective method for finding them. Keep up the great work!
Not taking any requests at this time.

Bored? Watch some of my hacks here.

GForce played through Miracle Piano with a friend and I believe he did say there is some kind of message when you finish all the lessons. His friend was a piano expert and GForce said he had an extremely hard time in the later lessons of the game, so I'm not even gonna attempt it, knowing as little about pianos as I do.

Uncharted Waters and Silent Service are the 2 games I need to beat. I don't like either one of them but will probably get around to playing through em before the end of the year. Maybe

                        • My friend who played with me said that the game had some oddities and unusual mistakes that wouldnt appear in real music. He had a hell of a time with the foot pedal, it didnt work very well. You can skip any lesson or go back at any time. Each "level" teaches a new technique and has some practice drills for fingering and timing. I worked on those by myself. Between the 8 bit graphics on an old TV, it was pretty hard to see. My friend came in and did all the end of level "tests". He knew most of the songs and could follow along but sometimes he wasnt able to pass despite his guarentee that he was doing it right. We skipped a few of the unfair tests and went all the way to the end. Insanely hard opera songs and jazz music towards the end. He finished the last song (Level 36) and it said, "YOU DID IT...." a few other things then credit roll. I was suprised that was it so I went back to the previous lesson, the forward again and that same message and credit roll appeared again. Then he left and I restarted the game and forwarded all the way to Lesson 36 again and skipped through all the lessons and still got the same message and ending. I suppose that you can just get that ending any time you want. My friends been playing 20+ years and it was tough for him. Hope this info doesnt deter you but just want to give you a clear idea. Good luck

I used to love playing Silent Service. Never figured out how to finish the game though. I did make some Game Genie codes a long time ago that make the game much easier. The increased speed codes make it so you can outrun any enemy ships.

                            Silent Service

                            YXVPUYGP
Increases max submerged speed from 10 to 29.

                            PUVPUYGP
Increases max submerged speed from 10 to 39.

                            GUSOXNTO
Increases max surfaced speed from 20 to 50.

                            SZSPKLVG
                            Infinite battery power.

                            SXOPUGSA
Don't sink from depth charges (your sub can still be damaged, but you won't sink).
