    Enable Unused Medarot Kabuto version Super Game Boy Functions

    Only the US version has partially implemented Super Game Boy support. There are two MLT_REQ (89) with bits 01 and 00 Super Game Boy commands that are used to tell the game that it is running on a Super Game Boy via requesting input from two controllers. While the header byte to enable Super Game Boy functions were enabled in the rom header, (set 0x0146 to 0x03) the other functions will not load, instead a simple instruction change at 0x01CB db 18, ld a,(de) to jr ld a,(de). Alternatively, Game Genie code  will enable the unused Super Game Boy functions showing an unused Medarot Kabutu border and basic commands. Super Game Boy features were planned mostly to detect and disable rumble functions. The code is also present in the Japanese version known as Golf de Ohatusa but all of the function calls have been disabled via setting the bytes to null 0000.

    Thanks to tbonewillis (frostythesnowboner) or whatever he wants to be called for reminding me that this ROM (I'm not even going to call it a game) exists, and for my own ingenuity to dig into the ROM and find this unused level select.

    Well, there is a menu for a VS match in Dr. Mario Game Boy, however this is all there is left of the idea. There are some unused graphics in the game tiles but no VS graphics or any indicator that it got this far sadly as there is in the 2 Player Mode. What is really strange is that the VS COM shows up in 2 player mode instead of 2P, which is an unused tileset in itself. I'm not sure why they chose to display VS COM in 2 Player mode instead of the 2P tiles. I originally found this when I was working at TCRF years ago and even uploaded an image, but I forgot about it since for some strange reason.

    21:19:16<nensondubois> hahahahaha wooow I just found out that there are more minigames in this Tom and Jerry game than previously thought. I need to find out if they're unused or not

    Well I looked into it again just because and I found more minigames than previously thought. I don't know if they're used or not.

    I don't know if this code works on all emulators because the way RAM writes the address but it works with VBA which is what I used to quickly test the code.
    Edit yep they're used. I just tried the password from gamefaqs on final level 5 Dog, Duck, Jerry, Jerry, Tom, Tom, Dog, Jerry, Duck and it unlocks them. Nice cutscene for the Game Over. Its like a really bad GBA videoplayer on one of those Pokemon games. BGB has emulation issues.
    Also, the Game Over music cuts off almost the entire song.

    This is a game I plan on doing commentary for some day because I think it will be funny. Not that it will be scripted or anything.

    Wow the jumping programming in this game is fucktacular. Without reprogramming the entire engine this is the best that can be done.
