The "By" Line...

Here's a copy of something I said in #gshi:

[23:35] Lazy|Bastard: Is there a simple way we can change the "By [Name]" piece on the forums?
[23:35] Lazy|Bastard: As in, on the main page, there are most recently-updated threads, with the latest poster.
[23:36] Lazy|Bastard: But the subsequent "By" line leads one to believe that person started the thread, not posted in it last.
[23:36] Lazy|Bastard: Thus, if someone posts a thread entitled, "I hate black people", and you reply to it, it appears you've started a thread entitled, "I hate black people".
[23:36] Lazy|Bastard: Though I guess I should just throw this into Under Construction.

Any ideas?

Incidentally, any clue as to why there are so many hackers with 0 codes, on the main site? Is that something not, or no longer, required, and hence should be pruned, or are those entries there for a reason? I should note that these remain after a recalculation, and I've observed at least ten or so by entering his/her empty code list.
