What are their plans, to repackage and resell their PS2 games a 3rd time? Just keep reselling it so people can keep rebuying multiple copies for multiple platforms?

Sony posted and then quickly removed an announcement trailer showcasing Dark Cloud running on PS4.
Additionally, the leaked video's description confirms PlayStation 2 emulation won't support your library of game discs or PS2 Classics.

Sony has always suppported more games with their backward compatibility emulation than Microsoft. I hope that is the case here too.

I noticed that. I'd "assume" they'll take the same route as before and instead make some games forward compatible and make you buy them online again. It's nice for those they never tried them on the PS1 and PS2, but I still own both and would be very annoyed about buying something again that I already own. I haven't played The Last Of Us yet, but I'm even more interested in the rumor article on the right I saw: www.ign.com/articles/2014/01/29/is-the-last-of-us-2-in-development-at-naughty-dog
