Yeah, that was a fun level. I used to hit up a series of hidden ring dispensers at the upper left side of a building to rack up lives. And of course, getting up there required paddling/bouncing my way to the top, all of which were very enjoyable.

Sonic Rush has thingies and doohickies too, but they are either hard to use or added to keep you from falling into a badly-placed bottomless pit. That game has a disproportionately high number of pits for a sonic title. It wouldn't be so bad but the first few levels are littered with them. Classic sonic games saved the pits for later levels. And 'Rush's music sounds like it's calling you a "retard" with a digitized voice over and over again. I don't need that. Sure, I'm falling into pits left-and-right, but don't call me a retard

Since we are talking about Sonic 2 I love the oil field levels music and it was a cool level but not the best in that game. I hated that damn 2nd level with the water rising and the rotating platforms and that damn pit right before robotnik fight.

      THE BAD GUY!!!!!!

I also hate those levels, I also agree with OSG about the casino night levels, great stuff. Those were the days...

Since we are speaking of Sonic games... I, for the first time, started playing (Sega 32X) Knuckles' Chaotix. I don't like it at all. The 'rubber band' method is not fun at all, takes too long to execute, slows down the game, and is just annoying. I gave up on playing this game. If the developers felt like they needed to include a training program in the beginning of the game for a friggin 16-bit Sonic game, maybe that should have told them something... something not good. Sonic's main attraction that Sega so heavily advertised was the fast paced action. Well, this 'buddy system' in Knuckes' Chaotix completely destroyed that attraction.

How do yous feel about the game... Do you guys like or dislike this game?

Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. Somewhere under the brick & steel of a nondescript building. We've once again made contact w/ our leader, OSG

It's different, it's not as good as 1, 2 or 3 but at least it's not 3D blast/flickies. I like it somewhat, haven't finished it yet. Speaking of the buddy system, (sounds like something I used to hear when I was in school) it is annoying I agree with that, but it just feels better when playing the hacked version that replaced mighty with Sonic. I would play it more often if there was a 32x emulator for Wii.
