I'm intrigued, but running the game only yielded the error: "RGSS100J.dll could not be found."

Forgot to pack a dll, or is it something I could likely just google around for?

OK, I found a copy of that DLL, though I don't know if it's outdated or not. I know have a new error: "RGSS-RTP Standard ?????????"

Any ideas?

Apparently, this game is made with RPGmaker, and requires the RPGmaker prog and related files: http://www.blueturret.com/game/ http://forum.digimonhimitsu.com/viewtopic.php?p=695 This seems to be a common problem with RPG maker games. Makes the whole RPG maker thing kinda useless as a result. :-\

The ???? error is actually が見つかりません = japanese for "is not found", you need to download and install some 20meg rtp.exe prog. (I don't know if the rtp prog is included with the RPGmakerXP prog or not.)

Of course all the links to the files are dead... So I dug up a torrent. I don't like dealing with shareware at all... And having the full version installed doesn't seem to work.

I could upload the RPGmaker game, I got a cracked version of the english program, but we would have to move this to Speakeasy then. How can I set access for that? I was gonna stick a couple people in it. Obviously I was gonna add everyone I had in the game.

Yeah, I may make a 2nd version, I was trying to hurry it up so I can release it. Perhaps a different kinda attack for each character. Sorry about the dog Cypherswipe. I couldnt find a Odie sprite to use.

Well, the official RTP does run the game fine. Which is how I played it... So it wouldn't mean you'd have to move this to the Speakeasy.

cool, i love the rpgmaker, ive never made anything decent, but i like to play around with it.

i love the idea of this, and i think a full fledged game would kick ass, even if it was only like an hour long or so.

on the topic of the rpgmaker, though, does anyone know where to get any decent tilesets for xp? the default ones are kinda crap. i really want a complete ff6 tileset...

Thanksfor the sprites and stuff. I dont have any new demo's, but I thought I'd let you all know I'm experimenting in Scripting. I never thought I'd understand it, but I just now successfully added 8 way directional movement. Pretty sweet.
