For no particular reason, I find the need to rant positively about a (freeware) web browser I just started running, called SlimBrowser...it totally rocks. I'm way too tired to go into the myriad of things it can do, but suffice it to say it's based on IE, but adds a small shitload of extra functions for increased simplicity, and simultaneoesly, some nice advancement. In my books, it beats Opera, Firefox, Voyager, and Internet Explorer hands down. It's at http://flashpeak.com if you'd like to check it out.

SlimBrowser
Anything beat the crap out of M$IE. However, nothing that uses M$IE as a backend can ever be very good, there are just too many flaws in M$IE's engine (poor support for web standards, vulnerabilities, active-x, features such as useragent spoofing. referrer blocking, etc which can't be added by some frontend).
Have you ever tried K-Meleon ( http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net )? It's small, fast, built on gecko, and highly customizeable.

SlimBrowser
Slimbrowser is pretty good for an M$IE frontend. It makes a good "companion" browser for K-meleon. (KM lets you right click a page or link and choose a "view in IE" option, this is useful for obnoxious sites which will only accept IE, and for webdesign/testing purposes. This feature can be customized to point to any browser, and it can be cloned to allow a choice of multiple browsers. I have mine set for slimbrowser and opera, plus I have a clone set for winamp.)
