If this is true, why can't I seem to find this mentioned somewhere on Konami's official site?

It's not anywhere in the official news section either. Could this be a lie?

Missed Silent Hill 2 the first time round and want to know what all the fuss is? Konami to the rescue!

    By Logan Westbrook

Konami has confirmed that it will be re-issuing several of its classic PlayStation 2 titles, but you're going to have to hunt around a bit to find them.

"We've manufactured certain amounts depending on the title," said a spokesperson for Konami, "and they're being bought by wholesalers so will likely pop up in independent rather than chain stores."

The games on the list are Suikoden Tactics, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, with Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4 following on.

"They are proper reissues," the spokesperson said. "Konami has put them out at budget price because of demand. They are re-manufactured. They are ours."

Konami claims that the games will be priced between £10 and £20, which is around the $20 - $35 mark.
