  • Master of the Monster Lair Review

    By Mir for GSHI

I finaly got the game and have started playing it. It stars out with a kingdom being over run by monsters. this one village cant go into their forest because of some Apple Vipers (what Viper now has a Mac?). The story is about a young boy trying to find work but is unable to find a job in the town so he goes to a field to think. he hears a voice asking for some help. my though was "heh, it is a talking sword that will be my main weapon." so the boy picks it up to find it is a talking shovel. wait... WHAT?? a talking shovel??? WTF?. This is where the game really takes off. you use the shovel to dig a dungon so that monsters will move in and you can beat them. BUT there is no EXP setup so you dont level up like most RPG's. you have to eat. You also need to get "rooms" for the monsters so you can gain items by defeating multiple enimes at the same time.

The game is fun and enjoyable but does get repetitive at times.

Note: I Will update this when i can.
Cant stand the 32 bit and above gaming.
Gamers for the return of 2d sprite filled games!
Working...
