Heh... I've had two ipod hard drives that went through all of those kinds of noises randomly. Conviently the upper head had broken off and was scraping the whole platter. -
Sounds you just dont want to hear coming from your computer.
Hitachi recently put up a page with the painful sounds that alert you of hard drive failure. It was miserable for me to listen to them and i cringed at quite a few of them. I thought i would share this information and as soon as i find a WAV of the "Click of Death" i will post that too.
