It seems it didn't have far to go to get to my home.

Now to set it up and get port forwarding and DMZ to work on it and my modem.

I would like to thank the people on kodewerx and GSHI in helping me choose the best router with their recomendations.

Oh it's a Router! I didn't know until the end. You're a good story-teller, I was holding my breath all that time.

Heh. I knew, but only because I'm a network administrator, and work with Cisco and LinkSys equipment on a regular basis

My download speeds before the router on Emule or Opera was around 15.5kbs. Now with the router it is around 2.2kbs.

There is something wrong with that. not to mention i am paying for DSL but that is a different story. I want my 13.3kbs back!

Nice choice for a router. I got mine a few months ago. First thing I did when I got it was throw the CD that came with in the trash, and flash it with DD-WRT v.23 SP2. A few minutes of tweaking and I haven't had the need to touch it since.

For bittorrent and peer-to-peer downloads from behind a router you may want to look up something called port forwarding.
