This was originally geared to be posted at GSC, but I'm banned there, so what the hell. I'll just post it here.
Introductory
I, as an individual, do not hate GSC as a community. There are a few people there that I dislike, but there's no hate between the community there and me. There is, however, contempt/dislike between me and GSC as an entity. If you'll hear me out I'll give you reasons why I have no respect for Rune, and how my dislike for Rune follows through to dislike of GSCentral as a website, and why I think you should follow suit.
I. Rune screwed us, plain and simple
Through a miscommunication between GSC staff members before the split, lemmayoshi (a moderator at the time) was banned. He was banned for requesting the banning of an infantile member (who deserved it) after a rule forbidding the requesting of banning members was passed retrospectively by Rune. Twilight_Spectre got pissed and in the heat of an argument requested to be banned. (Emotions played a big role there, he didn't mean it.) The banning of Twilight_Spectre brought on a massive flame war, where the passwords of several admins were changed while Rune kept the forum on lock-down for nearly three hours in an attempt to punish for rebellion. This turned out to be the final straw that broke the camel's back. The other straws that contributed to the split were stalling on the database and other questionable administration decisions. For example, demoting prominent moderators (qman, Platinum, et al.) without given official reason. When asked to give reason, Rune would go inanely off-topic, much as he does now.
II. Rune steals codes and applications, and is a hypocrite for doing so
Even though he whales against other sites (GSHI, Kodewerx, et al) for "code stealing", the GSC database is filled with many, many stolen codes. Much of the GSC database was built by screen-scraping other websites. Rune is trying to make his own personal code collection so that his website can be the best. He's trying to make his website the most popular for the biggest ePenis. Evidence of this can be found even in the most recent update. Some examples of stealing from me, personally I have included:

Retro Atari Classics (E, CB)
Retro Atari Classics (J, CB)
Atarimix - Ten Happy Games(Both game devices, again)
Sonic the Hedgehog: Genesis
Looking thorugh the database I also see many more infractions of code stealing. I even see them from *gasp* GSHI the "code stealers". Rune, I have to say that's pathetic. You knowingly put the codes from the people you "hate" into your database. If that isn't lol I don't know what is.
Another point to ponder; how are Rune's updates so big? Do you see anywhere near the same amount of these hacks being released by GSC? Didn't think so. Rune is getting these from an external source, and it is very unlikely that they are being submitted/hosted with permission. Bonus poitnz tiem! There have been no site updates since the relaunch. That's right, none. Why? That's something you'd have to ask Rune himself.
The falsehoods, hypocritical actions of Rune, and the treatment he has given hackers have led me to lose all respect for him, GSC as a website, and more specifically "Rune's" (It's not really his if others hacked the codes, now is it?) database. In once specific (and quite recent) incident, an application that assists the hacker in creating his codes was modified without permission and hosted on GSC. This is highly illegal, and especially shocking after Rune has tried to copyright the entire code database, of which he has only hacked a small portion.
You won't ever find a website that has in their possession as many codes as GSC possesses. Period. As long as Rune is at his old tricks screen-scraping codes off of other websites, he will always have the biggest database.
What you won't get at GSC, however (Assuming that Rune won't steal our codes and/or applications, LoLz) is Kodewerx exclusive codes, help using cheat codes, the development of cheat code hacking tools, and hacking help that is hard to be equaled elsewhere. Once our database launches, users will be able to submit their own codes. A voting system will be in place to ensure quality of said submissions. We even have a semi-functional proof-of-concept that we can show you.
Now you know the facts, educate yourselves. Rune doesn't care about you. He only wants his website to be the best. This is evident through the hypocracy of lambasting other websites for the code and application stealing he himself does. Lying and repetitive weasel tactics in "discussion" don't make him more cuddly either.
But where can I get all of the codes that Rune has? Isn't GSC the only place that has them? The advent of BSFree has brought a new era upon us. I do not condone the hacking of other websites, but it does seem GSC's security --the same security that the DB was brought down for-- has LoLzishly failed. Now you will no longer have to cuddle up to Rune and his hypocracy for all of you code needs. As its name implies, you can get all of the codes BullShit Free.
Now that you have the facts, just leave Rune and GSC alone to die, peacefully. There is now no reason to support him. Make up your mind on which website you patronize. Seek out facts, it helped me a lot.
