Dynamic application security testing (DAST) is a type of application security testing which is a type of black-box testing (with no knowledge of infrastructure, network or code) that tests your application from a malicious person’s perspective, also known as an Attacker or Hacker. https://www.getastra.com/blog/securi.../what-is-dast/

I think that every app developer needs a robust security system to keep the data safe. When something in your computer or mobile app gets stolen, it can be taken private and used against you. There is no way to recover it once it has been transferred to a new place. It would be like losing your dance moves or your secret recipe for an ice-cream sundae. That's why hiring a security specialist must be a priority for all app developers. I would feel more safe using highly secure apps in this digital decade.

The DarkSide ransomware affiliate program responsible for the six-day outage at Colonial Pipeline this week that led to fuel shortages and price spikes across the country is running for the hills.

The crime gang announced it was closing up shop after its servers were seized and someone drained the cryptocurrency from an account the group uses to pay affiliates.

The FBI confirmed this week that a relatively new ransomware group known as DarkSide is responsible for an attack that caused Colonial Pipeline to shut down 5,550 miles of pipe, stranding countless barrels of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel on the Gulf Coast.

Here's a closer look at the DarkSide cyber-crime gang, as seen through their negotiations with a recent U.S. victim that earns $15 billion in annual revenue.
