AMC will charge just 15 cents for admission on August 20th
To celebrate the theater chain's 100th anniversary, and the reopening of cinemas after quarantine lockdown, AMC will charge just 15 cents for admission on August 20th only.
The 15 cent tickets will be for several classic films, including Ghostbusters, Black Panther, Back to the Future, and Grease. After opening day, the prices for those films will be five dollars.
New movies expected to hit theaters soon include Unhinged on August 19, Disney's New Mutants on August 28th, and Tenet on September 3rd.
Sadly, not all states will participate in reopening their AMC theaters on August 20, including California and New York. Participating theaters are listed on the AMC website.
