It's nice they catch this, but it makes me wonder how many things we're missing. I've had "de-boned" fish that definitely had bones. I've also had chicken nuggets with bones and fat clumps too. It probably still exists a lot. People always gave me crap my entire life about how I eat my food, saying I'm very slow and look like I dissect my food. I basically do, because this stuff is always there somewhere, and I've encountered some odd things in my foods including plastic shrapnel and metal and whatever else.

Yeah, same here. I run into these things as well. Not so much the metal and plastic as the inedible parts of food. I usually count it off as 'they missed this one' since for me, it doesn't happen that often. I don't think I have a single Hormel product in my house.

Ever since I read about Hormel putting the hogs in small cages that didn't allow them to move, and just fed them until they were fat, I stopped going for their pork products. They said they do that because if they let them free they attack and kill each other, and they are likely right, but just the idea of growing up in a cage with almost no movement room to be fed and slaughtered just annoyed me too much. I'd hope for a better life for them at least. Raised in a body shaped cage and fed whatever and given hormones or whatever crap in a cage they barely fit is just a no to me.
