Congressman, Aide, Capitol Police Shot In Attack

Rep. Steve Scalise was shot Wednesday morning in Alexandria, Virginia, a House colleague told CNN, in what sources are calling an apparent "deliberate attack."

The shooting took place at a practice for the GOP congressional baseball team.

Scalise, a member of the House Republican leadership as the majority whip, appeared to have been shot in the hip and it appeared two Capitol Hill police agents were shot, according to Rep. Mo Brooks, who told CNN he was on deck when the shooting occurred.

The details are he's a Bernie supporter who hates Trump and helped with Bernie's campaign. People usually don't just go out and attempt to kill politicians out of nowhere during the day with cops everywhere. I don't see a mention of the specific things he hated about Scalise that triggered him to kill. I'd care more but these days I have no ability to feel anything for politicians who are trying to create terrible laws, undo good laws, and generally make the world a worse place for everyone except themselves as the corporations they sold their souls to give them money they steal from us. Not supporting the attack on victims who have no idea of the situation, but for all I know he may have been doing the world a favor trying to get rid of a terrible politician.

I know we aren't supposed to talk about politics here, but I had to post this.

Do they even have info on why he attacked the guy? I just see mention of a Tyson Foods lobbyist but not a clue more than that. Was he another "Ban anybody who isn't already here from entering here, guns guns guns, the lord and bible, ban gays, rich people are rich because they're great and earned it and poor are unskilled garbage unworthy of life, no abortions, blah blah blah" crazy sort of politician? A corrupt douche who was bought by lobbyist wanting to make or remove laws in their favor?

It's rare I say I couldn't care less about somebody dying or being attacked but in the past years I've cared less when I hear about crazy politicians changing everybody's lives like tyrants mixed in with absurd police violence on people who committed no crime more than being born with a certain skin color they had no choice in choosing and all of the other crazy news. It's even more absurd when politicians and police are caught in full uniform participating in things like Ku Klux Klan or whatever rallies. These times are the most behaviorally unaccountable I've seen where anybody can get away with any crime as long as they are a politician or officer of the law or whatever. It feels like laws no longer apply to them, nor are they in any way punishable.
