Switch won’t be able to stream Netflix or anything else

You might be one of the Nintendo fans who pre-ordered the Switch console fast enough to secure an early March ship date, and you might be excited about all the exciting things you’ll be able to do with it.

I hate to rain on your parade, but there’s one thing that you won’t be able to do on the Nintendo Switch, at least not at launch: stream movies and TV shows.

That’s right, Nintendo confirmed there’s not going to be no Netflix for you, Switch buyers.

The name of that system should be Nintendo Bait & Switch. I mean, they promise all this cool stuff you can do with it...

I don't think netflix was ever a big draw on WiiU or 3ds like it was on Wii. That's probably why netflix won't be ready at launch. So many people own a cell phone and can watch netflix on it that it not being on switch don't seem like a big deal.

The Switch won’t have Netflix or any other video apps at launch, but it will have a Mii Maker app. No video capture, sad to say.

How the FUCK is that even relevant in that sentence? Allow me to cry us all a river. I know Nintendo likes to create a gaming console first and partial entertainment system second, but support for video streaming services have become the standard. I see they're still shipping with 32GB... Have they not learned anything from the Wii U's flop? Can we at least get 120GB since the 500GB+ that Sony and Microsoft gives us is too much to ask for? I know the memory is expandable, but at least give your customers something to work with. They had me sold on Breath of the Wild and a few other games, but I won't be picking up one of these right away now. They should keep that shit in their vaults for another 6 months instead of rushing this release.
