Game Of Thrones casts Melanie Liburd as new Red Priestess
Melanie was born in Hertfordshire, England, daughter of Georgina, a Realtor, and Michael Liburd, a Martial Arts Expert, and has two brothers, Marc and Leon. She is half Kittitian, half English. Her mother was born in Russell Square in London, and her father was born on the Island of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

There's a new Red Woman coming to Westeros: British actress Melanie Liburd has been cast on Game of Thrones as the Red Priestess, Deadline reports.
Though Deadline speculates that Liburd will be taking over the role of the Red Priestess Melisandre, played by Carice Van Houten, it's more likely Liburd is playing a new servant of the Red God.
Based on a casting notice and a leaked audition, Liburd is playing Kinvara, a Red Priestess who visits Mereen under the impression that Daenerys is the One Who Was Promised.
Liburd's previous credits include The Grinder, Strike Back, CSI and Dracula.
